We are grateful for the smiles you deliver to customers every day. We recently spoke with three delivery partners who shared their recommendations for providing a high-quality customer experience while delivering with Amazon Flex. Meet Sophia, Shawn, and Aimee.

Sophia, from Boston
“When dropping packages on the customer’s doorstep I always weigh down lightweight packages so they don’t blow away, place packages inside a screen door if it’s raining, and if I see a camera I always say, ‘Have a great day!’ Recently, I was delivering diapers, and it was raining. There was an upside-down plastic bin in front of the house, so I placed the diapers under that and placed it by their door so they didn’t get wet. I treat every delivery like it’s my own and try to make customers as happy as I am when I receive a package."

“I do the small things. I never walk on a customer’s lawn. I know people can be particular about their lawns and I want to respect that.”

Aimee, from Jonesboro
“I always look at the Delivery Notes because if it didn’t mean anything to the customer, they wouldn’t have put it there. In bad weather, I always take care to find a place that will protect their delivery. Nobody wants a soggy box. Even if it looks like it might storm, I place the delivery under the mat. And I smile, even if I don’t feel like it because a simple smile can change someone’s day.”
