Amazon Flex is now in Arlington (VA), Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Nashville, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Raleigh, Richmond, Rockville (MD), San Antonio, Seattle, Springfield (VA), Tampa Bay, and Virginia Beach.
What if I don't live in a delivery area?
Sign up and let us know where you want to deliver. We'll contact you before we begin operating in your city.
Can I choose specific neighborhoods or the types of products that I want to deliver?
Amazon Flex drivers aren't able to select a specific delivery neighborhood within a metro area or make a preference related to package contents at this time.
Where do I pick up deliveries?
You can pick up deliveries at a location near you. You'll receive items to deliver in a local radius, based on length of the delivery block you signed up for.
Who can deliver for Amazon Flex?
We are looking for Delivery Partners who are at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a vehicle. You will need to pass a background check which includes, but is not limited to, a review of motor vehicle records. Current Amazon employees are not eligible to be Delivery Partners.
What do I need to make deliveries?
You will need a vehicle and a smartphone. We will provide access to the app and opportunities to deliver.
What kind of things will I deliver?
You'll deliver Amazon packages, and in some locations you may pick up from restaurants or stores.
Is Amazon Flex a full-time work opportunity?
Amazon Flex provides a flexible opportunity for Delivery Partners looking to turn free time into supplemental or part-time income. The available delivery blocks may fluctuate week to week and are not guaranteed.
How long can I deliver for?
Amazon Flex is a great way to make great money delivering when you want. You can choose any available blocks of time to work the same day, or set availability for up to 12 hours per day for the future. Blocks are allocated based on expected volume and availability of Delivery Partners.
What are earnings estimates based on?
Earnings are calculated differently for Prime Now and Amazon.com deliveries. For Prime Now, estimated earnings of $36-$50 per delivery block include tips and are based on making a number of deliveries that are expected to take approximately 2 hours to complete but may take more or less time. For Amazon.com deliveries, estimated earnings of $72 per delivery block are based on making a number of deliveries that are expected to take approximately 4 hours to complete but may take more or less time.
Do I need an Amazon account?
Yes, you'll need an Amazon account, but if you don't have one (or want to use a new one) you can create one when you sign up.
