Choose your offer for a delivery block

Delivery blocks define when, where, and how you deliver, including start time, delivery type, and earnings. In the Amazon Flex app, offers show which blocks you can accept.

Delivery types that work for you

Amazon Flex offers a variety of delivery options to match your preferences. Here is a snapshot of what you can choose to deliver.

Amazon standard delivery

Amazon standard blocks last between 1-6 hours and require you to pick up packages from an Amazon delivery station at the start of your block.

Amazon grocery delivery

Amazon grocery blocks last between 2-4 hours and require you to pick up groceries or household items from an Amazon Fresh delivery station, Whole Foods Market or other grocery provider.

Amazon Now delivery

Amazon Now delivery blocks are typically less than 1 hour long with local deliveries directly to customers.

Offer types

Schedule-ahead offers vs. instant offers

The Amazon Flex app will show you offers for available delivery blocks. Offers include the date, delivery type, your expected earnings, start time, and estimated duration. There are two main ways to earn with Amazon Flex:

A man sits on a large community bench and looks down at a phone he holds in one hand. The other hand types on a laptop that sits on his lap.

Schedule-ahead offers

Ideal when you want to plan ahead and build your schedule around your available time and priorities. These delivery blocks typically last 3-5 hours and become available up to 7 days before they begin.

Instant offers

Ideal when you want to quickly earn any time you don’t have a block scheduled. These delivery blocks start immediately after you accept an offer.
