Helping Drivers with Gas Costs

Rising gas prices have made driving more expensive, and we understand that has a direct impact on you and the goals you’re working toward. To help reduce the impact, we are taking several actions. First, we do regular reviews of each region and increase earnings in locations where fuel prices are having the biggest impact on drivers. These reviews consider things such as cost per gallon of gas locally versus the national average and length of routes in the region. Second, we’re making new partnerships through our rewards program to increase the number and size of fuel discounts available to you across major fuel brands (see more below). Third, we’re providing double cash back on gas—up to 12% from March 31 through July 31 through the Amazon Flex Rewards Debit Card^1,2. We will continue to monitor gas prices across the country, as we know they impact you in a significant way.

Cash Back on Gas

During this limited-time promotion, you’ll earn 12% cash back on gas if you are in rewards level 4, 8% for level 3, and 4% for level 2. The cash back will be automatically applied to your available balance. You’ll also continue to get 2% cash back on Amazon.com and Whole Foods and 1% cash back on everything else.

Gas Discounts through Stride

You can also save money on gas and other expenses with discounts through our Stride partnership. Save $0.40 per gallon at BP locations in the US for your first fill-up through December 31, 2022 by joining the BPme Rewards program as a new member through the Stride App. And save $0.05 per gallon at participating TravelCenters of America, Petro Shopping Centers, and TA Express locations. Save an additional $0.25 per gallon—on top of other discounts—for your first fill-up through cash back from Upside, for total savings of up to $0.50 per gallon. That means you can save up to $7.50 when filling a 15-gallon tank.
