Keeping you safe with free safety gear

Your safety as a delivery partner is a top priority at Amazon Flex. In support of this, we provide free safety gear for you to use while on the road and during deliveries. We are continually expanding to additional locations and making more and new types of gear available.

Reflective safety vests

Everyone, including Amazon Flex delivery partners, must wear safety vests at Amazon delivery stations and parking lots. Amazon-branded safety vests are available from delivery stations at no cost to you. We’ve designed these vests using reflective technology so you stay visible to other vehicles, customers, and community members while at the delivery station and on the road. To enhance your safety, we also recommend you wear safety vests as your outermost layer at all times when doing Amazon Flex deliveries.

Vehicle magnets

Amazon Flex offers two types of vehicle magnets. These magnets are free and are designed to keep you safe on the road by letting community members identify you as a delivery driver and that your vehicle makes frequent stops. When using vehicle magnets, remember to not block functional parts of your vehicle, such as sensors, door handles, or license plates.

Headlamps

To help you see better in the dark during deliveries, we offer free headlamps to Amazon Flex delivery partners. A headlamp helps you spot obstacles sooner in the dark, as well as frees up your hands to better hold packages and use hand rails. When picking up a headlamp, you will be asked to complete a brief confirmation survey.

Vehicle magnets and headlamps are optional for you to use and available at select delivery stations in limited quantities. If you need help finding safety items, ask an Amazon associate at the station for assistance.
