Amazon has launched Sub Same-Day delivery options that allow customers to get their orders in as little as one hour. As an Amazon Flex delivery partner, this means more customer orders, increased opportunities to earn, and greater scheduling flexibility.

Picking up and delivering for one-hour delivery blocks

For one-hour Sub Same-Day delivery blocks, you will have a dedicated and streamlined station check-in process. When you arrive at the station, look for reserved parking spaces close to the station entrance. After you check in, please follow the “1-hour routes” station signs that will lead you to the staging area. Once there, packages will be organized by the location number that matches the number in your Amazon Flex app. Scan the QR code of each package before loading it, and ask a station associate for help if you have any difficulty.

All Sub Same-Day delivery blocks are designed to be safely completed within the scheduled block time. Packages are due by the delivery time noted in your itinerary in the Amazon Flex app.

Tipping for one-hour Sub Same-Day delivery orders

One-hour orders include the option for Amazon customers to leave a tip. As a result, Sub Same-Day blocks may include tip eligible and/or non-tip eligible orders. The Offers screen will always show clear, upfront guaranteed earnings and clarify if a block includes tip-eligible orders, so you can quickly decide if an offer is right for you. You will always receive 100% of your customer tips.

To view available offers for delivery blocks, check the Offers tab in the Amazon Flex app. We hope you enjoy these expanded ways to earn extra money on your own schedule. Thank you for delivering smiles to Amazon customers.
