Alexa, Thank My Driver promotion is back

Update 01/01/24: After extraordinary participation by the community, the Alexa, Thank My Driver feature has now been used over 10 million times and the 2023 promotion is over. The compliments don't stop though! If you receive a special thanks, you’ll continue to get a compliment badge in the Amazon Flex app, which you can find in Your Dashboard.

Update 12/14/23: After extraordinary participation by the community, the Alexa, Thank My Driver feature has now been used over two million times for delivery drivers like you! While the $5 promotion has now ended, we’re back with a BIG new addition! Starting today (December 14), and through the end of December, the 1,000 most-thanked delivery drivers each day will receive $100 each. In addition, the top five most-thanked drivers during the last two weeks of December (once from Dec. 18-24 and again from Dec. 25-31) will receive $10,000 each. Then, at the end of December, the five most-thanked drivers across this year’s entire promotional period, which started on December 12, will each receive $25,000 plus an additional $25,000, matched and paid by Amazon, to the charity of their choice.

We are incredibly thankful for all that you do to bring joy to Amazon customers every day – and they are too! In fact, they’ve been using Alexa-enabled devices and the Amazon shopping app to say “thank you” for over a year, giving over 22 million “thank yous” so far. Currently, you can receive an Alexa, Thank My Driver compliment badge in the Amazon Flex app every time you receive a “thank you.”

When we launched last December, delivery drivers could receive $5 for each “thank you,” up to the first one million “thank yous.” We heard you and customers say they loved this promotion, which is why we’re thrilled to bring it back.

Starting December 12, each time a customer says “Alexa, thank my driver” the driver who delivered that customer’s most-recent package will receive $5 per “thank you,” along with an Alexa, Thank My Driver compliment badge in the Amazon Flex app, until two million “thank yous” are reached. You’ll see the additional thank you payment reflected in your Earnings. Once the promotion is over, you will still receive a compliment badge for every customer “thank you,” which you can view in Your Dashboard.
