Customers can thank you in a new way

Update 12/21/22: After extraordinary participation by the community, starting December 21, we are extending the "Alexa, Thank My Driver" $5 appreciation program by an additional 1 million "thank yous"! Drivers will receive a notification of when the $5 promotion has ended.

Update 12/8/22: The “Alexa, Thank My Driver” feature has now been used over 1 million times for delivery drivers like you! In achieving the 1 million “Alexa, Thank My Driver” milestone, the $5 per “thank you” promotion has now ended. The compliments don't stop though! If you receive a special thanks, you’ll continue to get a compliment badge in the Amazon Flex app.

We are incredibly appreciative that you deliver for Amazon customers every day. With the help of Alexa, we’re excited to offer a new way for US customers to show their appreciation too.

Starting December 7, customers can thank you using Alexa-enabled devices like Echo or Echo Show, and Amazon’s mobile app. Any time a customer says, “Alexa, Thank My Driver” from an Alexa-enabled device, the driver who delivered their most recent package will receive a “thank you.”

If you receive this special thanks, you’ll get an “Alexa, Thank My Driver” compliment badge in the Amazon Flex app, which you can view in Your Dashboard. To celebrate the launch of this new feature, for the first 1 million “thank yous,” Amazon will also give you $5, which you’ll see reflected in your Earnings.
